This is a single storey building with high ceiling, treated concrete walls and metal pitched roof. This centre is equipped with features and facilities for handicapped people.

Notes:
There are 2 indoor pools and can be used for swimming training and research. It can be used by other communities as well. The centre combines the outdoor Empire pool with indoor 50-metre pool and the John M. Buchanan Fitness and Research Area within the centre.
