The Old Horse Barn was erected in 1920 and was used until September 2003 when the building was deemed, by consultants, structurally unsafe and beyond restoration. Thus, the historic building was rebuilt. The 10,610 sq. feet building now functions as a community centre providing a social space for university residents and students. Includes the “Saltspring Coffee Co.” restaurant, meeting rooms, a fitness facility, and a number of social spaces.
