Electronic Course Reserves
Information About the Electronic Course Reserves Project
Here's what's available on the Web so far:
- for most of the courses listed there are reading lists
- for a few of the courses other materials such as lecture notes, full-text articles, old exams, or links to other web sites are available
Electronic course reserves began as a pilot project which ran from June to August 1997. Library staff wanted to gain experience in digitally scanning course materials (traditionally housed in the Library's printed reserve collections) and making them available on the World Wide Web.
Most of the initial work was done by students hired thanks to grants from the AMS and UBC Summer Career Placement.
We plan to continue the project as resources permit. If you have questions or suggestions about the project, or if you're a faculty member interested in exploring electronic reserve options, please contact Leonora Crema (822-8473) or Larry Campbell (822-2076).
