Information Literacy Resource Centre

UBC students have an increasing, and sometimes overwhelming, abundance of information sources at their fingertips. How can they best learn to locate, evaluate and use them effectively?

UBC Library's Task Group on Information Literacy is tackling this question by examining current practices at UBC, needs and opportunities in each faculty, and best practices at other institutions. Recommendations regarding how the Library can best support information literacy at UBC will be compiled in Spring 2002.
