NEW INTERLIBRARY LOAN FORMS HERE

The Life Sciences Interlibrary Loan Department provides books and articles, not owned by the University of British Columbia, to support the teaching and research activities of UBC faculty, students, staff and authorised research personnel in the life sciences. Before ordering items via the Interlibrary Loan Department:

• Have you checked the UBC Library catalogue to make sure that the item is NOT available at any UBC Library?
  
  Tip:
  For journals use the journal/ejournal title search box. This will help you find your article online, if it is available. To order items available in print at another UBC library branch, use the Order via UBC Doc Del button located at the bottom of the catalogue record. Note this service is free to UBC Faculty, students and staff when ordering from a Life Sciences Library for pick up at another Life Sciences Library.
  
  
• Have you checked whether your item is available for do it yourself interlibrary loan from the Canada
  Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI) via the CISTI Orders Service?

NEW INTERLIBRARY LOAN FORMS HERE

New interlibrary loan forms have replaced the current Life Sciences Libraries ILL forms. The use of the new forms will allow users to track the status of their ILL requests. The new forms will also allow the Library to implement a new delivery service, post to web, for articles.

To use the new forms, you will need your library barcode and pin number. The library barcode is located on the back of your UBCcard. If you have forgotten your pin number, please go to the following
