Reference Collection UBC Press Books

Reference Collection This collection is designed to provide reference material on the rare books and special collections at the University Library as well as necessary reference books for preparing exhibitions and bibliographies on subjects collected by Rare Books and Special Collections.

UBC Press Books UBC Press, the publishing branch of the University of British Columbia, was established in 1971. The press publishes about 40 new titles a year and has a back-list of 500 titles. UBC Press is strong in Political Science, Native Studies, Forestry, Asian Studies, Canadian History, Environmental Studies, Planning and Urban Studies. The press sends one copy of each new book to Rare Books and Special Collections.
