Biographical
Information:
Dr. Gibson arrived at UBC in 1949 where he became professor of neurological research. From 1963 he was professor of the history of medicine and science.

Early negotiations about the medical school; the Premedical Society; Norman Mackenzie; post-war campus expansion; thoughts about a medical school in the 19th Century; the Vancouver Medical Association; the Dolman Report; beginnings of the medical library; integrated medical programs.
