This 2-floor building is clad in a type of steel which would gradually rust and change colour to blend with other buildings in the vicinity. Its structure is precast concrete beams and steel frame.

Notes:
This is a simple and low profile building. It is built parallel to Chemical Engineering Building and replaces obsolete facilities occupied by the Mechanical and Engineering Departments. It is designed to faciliate the collaberation of these two departments, focusing on research in applied mechanics, vibration-analysis, numerically controlled machining, design and combustion-engineering.
